Dr. Jeffrey Kullgren is an internist and Robert Wood Johnson Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on issues of health costs and consumer-driven healthcare, working to improve access to medical care for low-income populations through the use of incentives, insurance benefit design, and regulations to encourage healthy behaviors. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Michigan State University, and his public health degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He completed his internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
