Dr. Jason Lazar is currently director of non-invasive cardiology and the cardiovascular medicine fellowship training program at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He is also clinical assistant dean in the College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Lazar's research interests include the epidemiology of coronary heart disease in women and high risk populations, and health disparities. He is also interested in hypertensioin, congestive heart failure, and arterial stiffness. He received his master's in public health from Columbia University-Mailman School of Public Health.
