Dr. James Webster is a professor of medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, the executive director of the Institute of Medicine of Chicago and the president of the Chicago Board of Health.  He is certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and geriatrics and he is the author of over 100 scientific publications.

Dr. Webster received his medical education at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University Medical School. He received his post graduate education in Philadelphia, Chicago and in a National Institutes of Health fellowship in pulmonary disease. He has served in multiple local and national leadership positions, has received numerous local and national awards and honors.
