Dr. James Laidler is a researcher studying high fructose corn syrup and finishing his PhD thesis in molecular biology in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Laidler is a graduate of the USC School of Medicine, who interned in pediatrics before moving on to the US Army where he spent four years as a flight surgeon. Following his military service, Dr. Laidler completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Illinois. He practiced medicine for several years in the states of Alaska and Oregon.
