Dr. Jaime Toro served as chairman of neurology Universidad Del Bosque/Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota from 1985 to 2001, when he became the medical director at the Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota. He is professor of neurology at the Universidad de los Andes. Dr. Toro reviews for the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, and has written over 70 scientific papers and more than 10 chapters, and is the editor of the neurology textbook Neurologia.
