Jaime Davidson, MD

    Dr. Jaime A. Davidson is the president of the Endocrine and Diabetes Associates of Texas and is also a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.  

    Dr. Davidson is one of the charter members of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). He is the treasurer of WorldWide Diabetes, a not-for-profit diabetes education organization, a council member with the Texas Department of Health Services, and a member of both the Council on Obesity Diabetes Education and the International Diabetes Federation Task Force on epidemiology. 

    In addition, Dr. Davidson is a trustee of the American College of Endocrinology, is on the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Safety, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American College of Epidemiology.

    Dr. Davidson has received numerous awards, including the American Diabetes Association's Harold Rifkin Award in 2006 and the AACE's Outstanding Service Award for the Promotion of Endocrine Health of an Underserved Population for his work in addressing health disparities in Hispanic and Latino communities during the 2006 ADA meeting.
