Dr. Ira Chasnoff is a professor of clinical pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and president of the Children's Research Triangle in Chicago.

A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Chasnoff is renowned for many years of research on the potential effects of maternal drug use on long-term child development. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Perinatology, and has served and continues to serve as an editorial reviewer for many peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Chasnoff received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and completed his pediatrics residency at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
