Dr. Humayun Chaudhry is president and CEO of the Federation of State Medical Boards of the United States, a position he began in October 2009. Dr. Chaudhry graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology, where he received a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. He also earned a master's degree in anatomy from New York University and a master's degree in healthcare management from the Harvard School of Public Health. He has also served as a flight surgeon as a member of the US Air Force Reserve. Dr. Chaudhry is the author of Fundamentals of Clinical Medicine, a medical textbook. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators.
