Dr. Henry Masur is President of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He is also Chief of the Critical Care Medicine Department at the Clinical Center of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Masur recently wrote an opinion piece for the Wall Street Journal calling attention to the dangers of growing bacterial antibiotic resistance and the problems with public policy.
