Hank Cardello is chief executive officer of 27ºNorth, a consulting firm that seeks to address social problems with solutions that benefit both business and society. Prior to this, Mr. Cardello held top executive positions at some of the world's largest food and beverage companies, including Sunkist Soft Drinks, Inc., Canada Dry, Coca-Cola USA, and General Mills. He currently is chairman of the annual Global Obesity Business Forum, an initiative sponsored by the University of North Carolina, that brings food industry executives together with well-known nutrition scientists to advance solutions for the obesity crisis. He is also a fellow of the Washington DC think tank the Hudson Institute, and director of its Obesity Solutions Institute. Mr. Cardello is the author of Stuffed: An Insider's Look at Who's (Really) Making America Fat (Ecco, 2009).
