Dr. Glenn M. Chertow is professor of medicine & chief of the division of nephrology at Stanford University School of Medicine in California. He is also an associate at the Centers for Health Policy and Primary Care and Outcomes Research at Stanford University.
Dr. Chertow's research interests are focused on clinical epidemiology, health services research, and clinical trials in acute and chronic kidney disease. In addition to his own research program, he devotes considerable effort in collaborative research and in mentoring junior faculty, fellows and other trainees.
Dr. Chertow received his MD from the Harvard School of Medicine and MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. His residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology were completed at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
