Dr. Gerald A. Metz is the medical director of the Final Exit Network. He formerly practiced opthalmology in private practice for almost 30 years, after a residenciy at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, and serving as a flight surgeon with the US Army, 101st Airborne Division.
