Dr. Frank Romanelli is an assistant dean of education and associate professor of pharmacy with tenure at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. A board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist, Dr. Romanelli has published extensively and spoken on the local, state, and national level in the areas of HIV disease and recreational drug use. He has also received several recognitions by various groups for outstanding teaching. Originally from Waterbury, Conn., Dr. Romanelli received both his bachelor of science and doctor of pharmacy degrees from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston. He completed both his pharmacy practice and critical care residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. Subsequently, he received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health.
