Dr. Frank Diehl is a globally recognized R&D leader with extensive experience in cancer detection, having pioneered the use of circulating tumor DNA to detect and track cancer. At Exact Sciences he is leading the development of a multi-cancer early detection test, utilizing multiple classes of biomarkers. Previously, he co-founded one of the first liquid biopsy companies, Inostics, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, working in the laboratory Dr. Bert Vogelstein, where he developed a DNA blood test for colorectal cancer screening. Dr. Diehl holds a PhD in molecular pathology from the University of Heidelberg.
