Dr. Enrique Hernandez is the director of the division of gynecologic oncology as well as the chairman of the department of obstetrics, gynecology  and reproductive sciences at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hernandez served in the United States Army as chief of gynecologic oncology at Tripler Army Medical Center before beginning his academic career. He has written two books, over 130  medical articles and lectured nationally and internationally on his research in gynecologic oncology. Dr. Hernandez has also taught at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
