Dr. Donald Stein is neuroscientist and Asa G. Candler Professor of emergency medicine at Emory University. Before returning to full-time research and training, he served in a variety of administrative positions including Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, vice provost for graduate studies, and vice-president for research at Emory. Dr. Stein's research has long focused upon examining the processes underlying recovery of function after traumatic injury to the brain.
