Dr. Devon Herrick, senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, is a healthcare economist who specializes in such issues as empowering patients, smart-shopping for prescriptions, internet-based medicine, consumer-driven health care and innovative medical providers. Dr. Herrick received a masters degree in public affairs and a PhD in political economy from the University of Texas at Dallas, and holds advanced degrees in finance.
