Dr. Dawn LaBarbera is the chair and professor in the department of physician assistant studies at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2004, she published a study in the journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA) on physician assistant vocational satisfaction. A new study on PA gender differences is forthcoming in JAAPA.
