David Wirta, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Wirta received his medical training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed his ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute. He founded the Eye Research Foundation in 1998, and since then has supervised hundreds of clinical research projects involving investigational products for eye diseases and cosmetic indications.
