Dr. David A Grimes is the vice president of biomedical affairs at Family Health International, and a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. Dr. Grimes also served as an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control for nine years. His research interests have focused on fertility regulation, technology assessment, sexually transmitted diseases and clinical epidemiology. In 2007, he was elected as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
