Dave Gruber is a senior assistant commissioner for the division of health infrastructure preparedness and emergency response for the state of New Jersey. In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and direction, coordination, provision of services, and assessment of activities to ensure state and local readiness, interagency/multidisciplinary collaboration, preparedness for terrorism and other outbreaks of infectious disease, natural disasters, and other public health threats and emergencies. In addition to preparedness responsibilities, Mr. Gruber oversees Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and supervises public health departments throughout New Jersey.
