Dr. Feinstein currently serves as Clinical Physician Executive, Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care for the Greater Winston Market, as well as Director of Tele ICU System Wide for Novant Healthcare in Winston Salem, NC. He also serves as the Liaison for In-patient Research for Novant Healthcare. He has served on SCCM’s Intensivist in Practice Committee for years and will be serving on SCCM’s Tele ICU Committee this year. Dr. Feinstein is passionate to promote responsible antibiotic stewardship as well as serving for 20 years on his systems HAI reduction committees. He has dedicated his career in serving as Sepsis Champion for 15 years in promoting novel strategies to promote sepsis bundle compliance in order to improve sepsis Mortality. He holds numerous teaching positions on a regional level and presents on critical care topics at many international conferences. Dr. Feinstein has extensive research and peer reviewed publications over 25 years in Critical Care, focusing on Sepsis/Septic Shock, Novel Antibiotics Administration, ICU Nutrition, ICU Delirium and Sepsis Biomarkers/ Diagnostics. He completed his Internal Medicine training and Chief Residency at St Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, MD. He went on to complete Fellowship and Chief Fellowship at RUSH Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
