Daniel C. Brennan, MD

    Daniel C. Brennan, MD, is the Director of Transplant Nephrology and the Medical Director of Pharmacoeconomic Transplant Research with Washington University Physicians at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Brennan received the Neville Grant award in Clinical Excellence from Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2011. He was also the recipient of the Renal Fellows Teaching Award in 2004 and 2005 and the AST/Wyeth-Ayerst Young Investigator Clinical Science Award in 1999. Dr. Brennan was listed as one of America's Top Doctors (Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, 2005-2010) and one of the Best Doctors in America, (Best Doctors, Inc., 1996-2010). He is board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Brennan also serves as a professor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

    After graduating from the University of Iowa Medical School in 1985, Dr. Brennan completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1988 and his fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts in 1991. Dr. Brennan's research has been published in several accredited journals, including Transplantation and the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.
