Dr. Daniel Blanchard is professor of clinical medicine, director of the University of California San Diego cardiology fellowship program, and chief of clinical cardiology at the University of California San Diego Thornton Hospital.

Dr. Blanchard received his MD from the University of California San Diego, and went on to complete an internship at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His residency and fellowship in cardiology were completed at University of California San Diego Medical Center.
