Dr. Lisa Keep is the director of tropical public health and an assistant professor of preventive medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. She is a two-time recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, a three-time recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, and a three-time recipient of the Army Achievement Medal.
Dr. Keep is also a fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine. She graduated with a medical degree from the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine in Florida, and earned her master's in public health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her residency in family practice at Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, and her residency in preventive medicine at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C.
