Cindy Conroy is a registered dietitian with the Iowa Heart Center in Des Moine, Iowa, who specializes in teaching cardiac and high risk patients about nutrition, diet and heart disease. Ms. Conroy is a member of the National Lipid Association and is as a diplomate of the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology. Ms. Conroy is noted for her community service work through the Iowa Heart Foundation to prevent childhood obesity, and her programs targeted at educating children about portion size, snack choices and label reading.
