Dr. Charles Foulks is the chair of medicine in the department of internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also the chief medical officer at the University. Dr. Foulks and physician assistant Dr. Laurie Benton are the 2009 recipients of the Paragon Award from the American Academy of Physician Assistants for physician/PA team of the year.  He is also on the editorial board for the Journal of Renal Nutrition. Dr. Foulks lectures and has written extensively on slowing the progression of kidney disease.
