Dr. Cassing Hammond directs the section and fellowship in family planning and contraception at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. He also directs ob/gyn services at the Center for Women with Disabilities at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. An associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Hammond has won numerous awards for his work in reproductive healthcare including the National Abortion Federation's C. Lalor Burdick Award for unsung heroes in the reproductive health. Dr. Hammond has lectured extensively on abortion and reproductive choice, particularly among women with disabilities and complex medical problems.
