Dr. Bradley Knight is a cardiac electrophysiologist who holds the appointment of Professor of Internal Medicine-Cardiology at the University of Chicago. He is the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology, and also directs the clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program. Dr. Knight's clinical and academic interests include diagnostic maneuvers used in the Electrophysiology Laboratory, electrocardiographic artifact, the use of implantable defibrillators in patients with syncope and dilated cardiomyopathy, pacing to improve congestive heart failure, prevention of sudden cardiac death, postoperative atrial fibrillation, ablation for atrial fibrillation, and integration of cardiac imaging with catheter ablation. He has been an investigator for several multicenter studies including trials of cardiac resynchronization therapy and ablation for atrial fibrillation.
