Dr. Betty Davies is Professor, Department of Family Health Care Nursing, University of California, San Francisco and is the Principal Investigator on the federally funded study from the National Institutes of Health to explore the experiences of fathers of seriously ill children. Dr. Davies sits on the Advisory Board of SuperSibs!, a non profit organization to honor, support, and recognize siblings of children with cancer, and currently is Chair of the Board of the International Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement.
