Chaplain Barbara Rutt is Manager of Pastoral Care at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She started her career as a surgical nurse followed by thirteen years as a critical care nurse.  In her role as a critical care nurse she had a calling to serve as a chaplain to many of her patients and their families.  She eventually decided to make a career move to become a full time chaplain.

Ms. Rutt received her clinical pastoral education at Harrisburg Community college in 1996 followed more recently by a Masters of Divinity at the Moravian Theological Seminary.  She is a Board Certified Chaplain and Commissioned Minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
