Amy L. Olson, MD, MSPH, is an associate professor of medicine at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado in Denver. At National Jewish Health, she is a member of the Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic and Autoimmune Lung Center and is the medical director of the Pulmonary Physiology Unit. Dr. Olson earned her medical degree and Master of Science degree in public health at the University of Colorado, and completed her medical internship, residency, and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Colorado as well. Dr. Olson completed a fourth year of subspecialty training in Interstitial Lung Disease at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Olson has authored a number of original research articles on the epidemiology of pulmonary fibrosis, including studies of mortality rates, seasonal variation, and comorbid conditions, and is currently working on new outcome measures for clinical trials. She has presented her research findings at both national and international meetings.
