Aine Collier, EdD, is an assistant professor of English at the University of Maryland's UK campus. She holds degrees in European history, international business, and English education. In addition to her 18 years as a teacher, she has been a working researcher/historian for over 20 years. This includes work for the Hughes Flying Boat Museum and a 1932 Olympics archival project, and as an oral historian for a series of interviews with famous figures from the peace movements of the 1930s and the 1960s. Dr. Collier has written articles for educational journals on the art of research, and provided all of the historical data for a number of well-received works of historic fiction.
