SEV Laser is rebranding as SEV SKIN, reflecting the med spa company’s expansion beyond laser hair removal into a broader range of aesthetic treatments, including skin services and injectables, according to a press announcement.

The new identity comes 16 years after the company launched as SEV Laser. Laser hair removal will remain a core part of the business, but the company said growing consumer demand for other aesthetic services helped drive the rebrand.

According to SEV SKIN, non-laser hair removal revenue increased 163% year over year through August 2026 on a same-store basis. The company has also expanded its footprint by 52% year over year, reaching 76 locations across 15 states.

The shift comes as med spas increasingly seek to build longer-term relationships with consumers across multiple aesthetic treatment categories rather than focusing on individual procedures. SEV SKIN said its own consumer research found that patients want aesthetic care to feel more personal and less generic, clinical, or transactional.

Those findings helped inform both the rebrand and a new brand platform built around the phrase “Ready for Anything,” which the company said emerged organically during its consumer research.

The transition also reflects broader diversification within the medical aesthetics market, where practices and med spa brands increasingly offer combinations of laser and energy-based procedures, skin treatments, and injectables under one roof.

CEO Carrie Julier said the company’s evolving customer base and changing aesthetic treatment habits helped shape the move to SEV SKIN. The company positioned the new identity as a reflection of its evolution from a laser hair removal-focused business toward a more comprehensive aesthetic care brand.
