ODAC 2026 Adds Hands-On, High-Impact Workshops

ODAC
12/02/2025

The ODAC Dermatology Conference will return to Orlando, Florida, in 2026 with a refreshed slate of interactive, expert-led sessions that emphasize skill-building across medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology, organizers said in a press release. Scheduled for January 16–19 at the Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate, the meeting will feature expanded hands-on workshops and live demonstrations designed to support both early-career and established clinicians.

Among the standout offerings is a new medical dermatology session led by Ronda S. Farah, MD, FAAD: "Strands of Clarity: Mastering the Hair and Scalp Exam," a live demonstration focused on trichologic diagnostics. Other first-time workshops include "Getting Your Hand Around Hidradenitis Suppurativa," which blends medical and surgical instruction, and "Beyond the Books: The DermSurg Workshop."

“In the dynamic and ever-evolving world of medical and procedural dermatology, what truly sets the ODAC 2026 hands-on sessions apart is this: method becomes muscle memory in real-time,” said ODAC Conference Co-Chair Adam Friedman, MD, FAAD. “These immersive workshops transform book knowledge into confident application when you're back in your practice.”

In aesthetic dermatology, a dual-track Aesthetic Workshop will allow attendees to simultaneously observe live filler injections by Sarah Jackson, MD, FAAD, and cadaver dissections led by Robyn Siperstein, MD, FAAD. The goal is to deepen understanding of facial anatomy, injection depth, safety zones, and complication avoidance.

“This is most definitely the best way to learn the appropriate and safe way to inject fillers,” noted ODAC Co-Chair Susan H. Weinkle, MD, FAAD.

Additional offerings include injectable skills labs and a three-part board review for residents, developed in partnership with Dermatology In-Review. Now in its third decade, ODAC attracts more than 500 attendees annually.

“ODAC delivers an unparalleled blend of clinical depth and truly practical strategies,” said surgical dermatology advisor Vishal A. Patel, MD, FACMS. “The focused content and immersive sessions provide a strong foundation for every stage of practice.”
