Ludient, a clinical skincare brand developed by lululab, has officially launched in the United States, introducing an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven approach to skincare product development.

According to the company, Ludient’s platform is powered by its proprietary luluTI™ technology, which analyzes more than 5 million skin data points and categorizes skin into 16 distinct skin types. Rather than developing products around broad skin categories or trending ingredients, the company says its formulations are designed using data derived from real-world skin patterns and concerns, including visible aging, blemish-prone skin, texture irregularities, enlarged pores, and pigmentation.

“We started with one question: why does skincare so often feel like a guessing game?” said Yongjoon Choe, CEO of lululab, in a company statement. “By combining Korea's glass skin expertise, rooted in deep hydration, barrier care and a luminous, healthy-looking finish, with the precision of AI-driven insights from more than five million real skin data points, we were able to build something that actually listens to your skin.”

AI-Powered Clinical Skincare Debuts With 3 Products

The US launch includes 3 products: RE-CODE Cream, Pore Refining Ampoule, and Radiance Glass Serum. RE-CODE Cream contains MDRN® technology, a 12-peptide complex, and ceramides intended to support hydration and barrier function. Pore Refining Ampoule features a 40% tannin complex, TECA, and RETICOLL® technology, while Radiance Glass Serum combines niacinamide, glutathione, vitamin C, ferulic acid, melatonin, and Centella-derived ingredients.

The company states that all products were developed using AI-driven analysis, are clinically proven, and are suitable for sensitive skin. Details regarding clinical study design, endpoints, and published efficacy data were not provided in the announcement.
