Dr. Sam Rizk to Present Deep Plane Facelift Technique at Final Baker Gordon Symposium

The Baker Gordon Plastic Surgery Symposium will hold its 60th and final gathering February 5-7 in Miami. Among the invited faculty is Dr. Sam Rizk, who will present his deep plane facelift technique, reflecting the procedure’s continued evolution toward natural, long-lasting results.

Dr. Rizk’s presentation includes a surgical video demonstration of his deep plane facelift. This is the second time his approach has been selected for the symposium’s core curriculum. His technique emphasizes vertical repositioning of deeper facial structures, aiming to restore youthful contour without the tension or distortion associated with traditional skin-tightening methods.

He will also demonstrate his use of Artiss™ fibrin sealant during closure, a method that reduces the need for surgical drains or mesh while supporting tissue adherence and postoperative healing.

In a separate lecture, Dr. Rizk will discuss safety considerations in deep plane facelifting, including strategies to reduce tissue trauma and improve surgical consistency. His refinements in dissection, access, and closure are designed to enhance both aesthetic outcomes and recovery.
