  • Overview

    This program is designed to improve clinicians’ knowledge of the latest clinical trial data surrounding the use of immunotherapy for the adjuvant treatment of patients with melanoma. The program addresses clinical challenges faced by oncologists/surgeons, including selecting appropriate patients, determining optimal treatment schedules and dosing, and managing toxicity.

  • Target Audience

    This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of the interprofessional team, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, medical oncologists, and surgeons involved in the management of patients with melanoma.

  • Learning Objectives

    After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to: 

    • Interpret the efficacy and safety data of clinical trials related to the adjuvant treatment for stage IIB/IIC melanoma 
    • Interpret the efficacy and safety data of clinical trials related to the adjuvant treatment for stage III/IV melanoma 
    • Optimize the use of adjuvant treatment in patients with melanoma by considering the risks and benefits of use and identifying which patients would benefit the most from adjuvant treatment

    In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Global Learning Collaborative (GLC) and TotalCME, Inc.
