  • Overview

    This popular CME program is a fun and exciting game show-style quiz competition that features key opinion leaders (KOLs) as contestants. Hosted by Program Chair Dr. Kagan, the program features Drs. Kling, Santoro, and Shufelt as contestants.

    Dr. Kagan will present cases of patients with menopausal vasomotor symptoms and each KOL will weigh in on their preferred treatment option, leaving the audience to vote on the winner!

    There will be learning, laughter, and only one KOL left standing! 

  • Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

    • Explain the role of sex hormones in thermoregulation and the relationship with the symptomology of VMS during the menopause transition
    • Identify women with suboptimally managed VMS, and create a care plan based on the demonstrated evidence of efficacy and safety along with cautions with treatment selection for appropriate and timely symptom management
    • Create a strategy to communicate and educate patients about their VMS to achieve a physician-patient partnership for treatment selection and outcomes that align with patient goals
