  • Overview

    The burden of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) on patients and caregivers is substantial. Current traditional therapies are often effective in the short term but bring with them many debilitating side effects. A more targeted approach to treatment that focuses on inhibition of the neonatal FcRn receptor complex is offering an exciting and different treatment option. Join Drs. Nicholas Silvestri and James Howard, Jr, as they discuss the expanding landscape of gMG treatments.

    • Explain the chronic and progressive nature of generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) and its impact on patients’ lives 
    • Implement standardized early detection and diagnostic protocols to reduce diagnostic delays of gMG 
    • Apply updated treatment recommendations for FcRn antagonists in gMG to ensure consistent and effective utilization of targeted therapies
    • Design personalized treatment plans for gMG that incorporate standardized protocols for individualized dosing and adverse event management
