With the incidence of cervical cancer in the United States remaining high, what do we need to know regarding its epidemiology?

  • Overview

Despite the steady decrease in cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates in the United States in the last 20 years, estimates show that in 2021, there will be 14,480 new cases. With those estimates in mind, Drs Bradley Monk and Leslie Randall come together to review factors that increase the risk for cervical cancer, patient subgroups that are disproportionately affected by the disease, signs and symptoms of cervical cancer, and the risk for recurrence depending on the initial diagnosis.
