William Haskell, MD
    Dr. William Haskell is a professor emeritus (active) of medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine, with a special interest in prevention research. He is the lead author of the 2007 American College of Sports Medicine/American Heart Association's recommendation on Physical Activity and Public Health.

    Dr. Haskell also focuses on hemodynamic/metabolic effects of exercise; multifactor intervention and coronary atherosclerosis; weight loss, the effects of nutrition and exercise on lipoproteins and ambulatory blood pressure, as well as coronary artery disease.
