Dr. Stephen E. Orlin is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Director of the Cornea Department, and Co-Director of the Refractive Surgery Service at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Orlin has been at the cutting edge of refractive surgery since the early 1990's. He has had extensive experience using excimer laser technology in treating the full spectrum of refractive eye disorders and is one of the few cornea trained refractive surgeons in the tri-state area, giving him a unique perspective on the many challenges of this exciting and rapidly advancing technology. He is a senior anterior segment surgeon at the Scheie Eye Institute and has been actively involved in the training over 100 residents. He has been honored an unprecedented four times as the Best Teacher by the Ophthalmology Residents at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Orlin has been listed in Philadelphia Magazine's "Top Docs" and in Best Doctors in America for his expertise as a corneal specialist.
