Dr. Sheryl Hirsch has practiced primary care pediatrics in Novi, Michigan for 39 years. Her practice transitioned from a large multispecialty group to a hospital-owned practice, and eventually to a small private practice with 3 pediatricians and a DNP. Their plan to add another pediatrician in September 2020 has been delayed because of decreased revenue due to COVID-19. Their practice has been PCMH-designated and has a diverse payer mix including capitation and FFS with commercial and Medicaid payers. Dr. Hirsch was born in Merrick, New York and attended SUNY at Buffalo for both her undergraduate work and medical school. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Her husband is an academic general internist. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. In her spare time she loves tandem biking with her husband.
