Dr. Sherry Teefey is a professor of radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Teefey's specialty areas include abdominal imaging, duplex and color doppler sonography, and musculoskeletal sonography. She has authored several journal articles on the clinical use of ultrasound of musculoskeletal issues concerning the hand, shoulder and rotator cuff.

Dr. Teefey received her medical degree at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. She has been the recipient of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Research Award and the Research Award and Annual Memorial Prize from the Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists. Dr. Teefey was listed inBest Doctors in America both in 2007 and 2008.
