Scott Johnson is the founding president of the Myelin Repair Foundation (MRF), a non-profit medical research foundation focused on accelerating the rate of drug discovery for myelin repair that will lead to treatments for multiple sclerosis.

Mr. Johnson brings his skills as an engineer, business consultant and entrepreneur to an organization that is upending the traditional model for medical research. Under Mr. Johnson's leadership, the MRF expects to license its first myelin repair therapeutic target for commercial development buy 2009, only five years after the organization began funding research. Mr. Johnson holds an MBA degree from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Davis.
