Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Dr. Sally Davidson Ward is the current head of the division of pediatric pulmonology as well as the medical director of the Sleep laboratory at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She earned her medical degree from UC Irvine before completing successive pediatric residency and clinical pulmonary fellowship programs at the Los Angeles County + University of South California Medical Center. After completing her training at Children's Hopsital as a research fellow in 1986, she was invited to remain on as a faculty member. Dr. Ward is an associate professor of pediatrics and is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Ward has also served as chair of the pulmonology sub-board of the American Board of Pediatrics and is a present member of the Sleep Medicine Board. Dr. Ward has authored more than 50 peer reviewed research publications. Her research interests are focused on sleep disordered breathing including obstructive sleep apnea and central respiratory control disorders.
