Dr. Fogel is a practicing gastroenterologist and a principal investigator with the Digestive Health Center of Michigan in Chesterfield, Mich. He currently serves as chair of the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee of the American Gastroenterological Association.

Before starting the Digestive Health Center of Michigan, Dr. Fogel served for 13 years as the head of gastroenterology services at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.
