Robin K. Dore, M.D., is a rheumatologist in private practice and a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). In addition, she is a Clinical Instructor in Rheumatology at Marshal B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. She attended medical school at the University of California in Irvine and completed her internship and residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance. She then completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Southern California Chapter, Arthritis Foundation, Harbor UCLA Medical Center..
Dr. Dore is active in numerous societies such as the American College of Rheumatology where she has achieved Master Designation (MACR). She is the Immediate Past President of the California Rheumatology Alliance and serves on the Board of Directors for United Rheumatology as well as the Board of Directors for the Arthritis Foundation. She is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist with the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
Dr. Dore has published dozens of articles and abstracts on rheumatology and osteoporosis and contributes as a Principal Investigator reviewing treatments for osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and other auto-immune diseases. Her commitment to patient and physician education includes the development of a program called “Bone Builders”, designed to educate girls and young women on healthy lifestyle choices to prevent osteoporosis..
