Dr. Rob Lamberts is a board-certified internist and pediatrician, and author of the popular blog Musings of a Distractible Mind, which has received acclaim from The New York Times and host of other popular press publications. The blog covers many issues, including the nuances of life as a physician and a wide range of non-medical concerns. Dr. Lamberts was an early adopter of electronic medical records and he and the other physicians in his practice have been awarded for their implementation of them in their practice, including receipt of the 2003 Health Information and Management Systems Society Davies Award for effective use of health care technology. He has also given talks about this subject across the country.

Dr. Lamberts finished medical school with his degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Indiana University Hospitals in Indianapolis.
